Detailed Pieces

Passengers Leaving the University cross onto the platform in the middle of the road. Due to large mass, a line is able to form following the red line.

The waiting space is filled with areas to wait and sit when lining up for the Light Rail. The area is also protected from the surrounding traffic as the edges are filled with greenery.

The Area behind the pedestrian crossing is the platform from which a selected number of passengers can enter the incoming train as this manages the masses of people travelling by Light Rail. Whilst those waiting in line occupy the spaces in front of the pedestrian crossing where the beginning of the waiting line starts on the left and the path to join the end of the line is on the right.

A stone and grass path influenced by Rem Koolaas goes across the pedestrian crossing, highlighting the movement of the line onto the Light rail platform.

Wooden guards influenced by Alvar Aalto act as a safety barrier for those waiting on the Light Rail Platform

Electrical Wires that connect the Light Rail to the Artisan Piece
